Rissen Mitten
The Resurrection Gauntlet was a metal gauntlet (also known as The Glove and given the joking name of Risen Mitten by Ianto Jones), had the ability to bring the dead back to life for a limited time. It was also believed to have either fallen through the rift and recovered by the Torchwood Institute or been recovered in a church by Captain Jack Harkness; both gloves were destroyed in the end, whether there are more gloves remains unknown.
After the death of Owen Harper, Jack used the help of a psychic to locate the other, left glove (Ianto had remarked that gloves come in pairs), in order to do the resurrection of Owen Harper for the standard of two minutes so the team could say their goodbyes. However, Owen did not die after two minutes. Unlike Suzie, Owen remained clinically dead, showing no signs of life, but remained fully animate and cognitive and he was also not drawing power from Jack (the person who revived him). The team soon discovered that a strange energy was slowly transforming Owen's cell structure. The team researched the second glove, and found that its use in the past allowed the 'grim reaper' or 'death' to enter the world and if death then takes 13 lives, it can remain in the living world. The team tried to stop Owen's transformation by injecting embalming fluid into his body, but the second glove became animate and stopped them by attacking Martha Jones, and drains her life away, leaving her at the age of 80. The second glove was destroyed like the first, with a gunshot, but its remains then turned to a powder that formed death's physical form.

Life Knife
The Life Knife was a three-bladed knife (8 Inches deep by 3 inches wide) used by Suzie Costello to kill people in order to test the Resurrection gauntlet. (TW: Everything Changes) After Suzie's death, the knife was locked away in Jack's safe sealed with a "NOT FOR USE" tag. The knife was associated with the glove as they were made of the same metal, and those killed with the knife were easier for the Glove to resurrect.
Transducer
The Transducer used nanotechnology. It converted the quantum traces of emotional events, both past and future, into a form that humans could mentally experience. (TW: Ghost Machine) Jack believed that it worked as a navigational device for travellers across the dimensions who would use quantum traces to orient the flight of their craft
The Rift
The Rift features regularly in Torchwood, with almost every episode being based around material or life-forms which have passed through the Rift. The Torchwood Institute website suggests that Torchwood Three was formed in Cardiff as soon as the Torchwood Institute became aware of the Rift's presence. Torchwood Three has also been described as merely a "monitoring station" for the rift. The website lists among the items found in the Rift "3 new Weevil clusters... items of unknown provenance... 2 weapons... 2 EBEs". However, the Rift appears to be one-way; craft sent through the Rift have been unable to either return or to send back a signal.
In "Out of Time", the Rift facilitates the misplacement of people on board a plane from 1953 to the show's present day. In the episode's conclusion, a temporal immigrant, feeling it will take her home or somewhere new, ventures back into the sky, with her ultimate fate left unclear.

Compound B67 (Retcon)
Compound B67, also known as Retcon and occasionally the Amnesia pill would induce amnesia in anyone that took it. (TW: They Keep Killing Suzie) It was used by Torchwood 3 to keep its operations secret from civilians. A side-effect of the pill was induced unconsciousness though it took a while for this to occur. (TW: Everything Changes) Retcon appeared capable of erasing selective memories, or implanting false memories. When given to the party following alien disruption of the wedding of Gwen Cooper and Rhys Williams, it did not result in a large group of people forgetting that Gwen and Rhys were married.
